Overview

In this video, we’ll learn how to identify and filter RFQs marked as Critical Application Items in Loocey. We’ll show you how to exclude critical items from your search results, create a saved view for quick access, and better focus on RFQs that match your business requirements.

Step by step

The walkthrough covered in the video, written out so you can follow along inside Loocey.

  1. Critical Application Items are specific RFQs in DLA that, as the name implies, are for critical items or critical parts. These types of RFQs generally require more paperwork, certifications and are a bit more complex to deal with.
  2. We can easily identify these in Loocey, we’ve created a column called “Critical Item” and it’ll be checked/unchecked to show weather or not the RFQ has been marked as “Critical Application Item”
  3. Note in some cases where you see the orange checkbox, it means the data has not been processed to confirm this flag, If you mouse over the checkbox, you’ll see a tooltip “Not Yet Set”.
  4. But once the data is populated, you should see either checked or unchecked.
  5. For this example, we want to exclude these Critical Application Items from our search.
  6. To begin, navigate to the DLA RFQs board.
  7. Next, click on the Filters option to refine your search.
  8. Add a new filter and select the Critical Item column.
  9. For the condition, choose Not Equal.
  10. Then set the value to Checked.
  11. This filter will exclude any RFQs that are marked as Critical Application Items and only display RFQs where the Critical Item field is not checked Or Not Yet Set.
  12. Click Apply to update the table results.
  13. Once the filter is applied, the table will refresh and display the filtered RFQs.
  14. To save this filtered search for future use, click on the Save As New button.
  15. Enter a name for your new view—let’s call it “Non-Critical RFQs”—then click Save.
  16. The new view will now appear as a tab, making it easy to access anytime.
  17. When you return to the RFQs list, simply click on the saved view, and Loocey will automatically apply the filter for you.
