Overview

In this tutorial, we’ll go over one of the most important features in Loocey, 1-click copy, which copies all solicitation details and organizes it into the CRM Bidding Board with a single click.

Step by step

The walkthrough covered in the video, written out so you can follow along inside Loocey.

  1. Go to the RFQs list and select a view, for this example, the pre-saved Simple RFQs view.
  2. Check the posted date to find the most recent RFQs, and select the ones you want, in this example, three RFQs.
  3. Click the three-dots menu, choose Copy To Bidding Board, and click Copy.
  4. The system copies all the information from each RFQ, including approved sources and parts, and organizes the data in the CRM section. Copying many at once may take a few moments.
  5. Don’t worry about duplicates, the system checks first and skips any RFQs you have already copied. A message at the top shows how many were copied and how many were duplicates.
  6. The copy feature also automatically marks the records as viewed, refresh the page and the blue dots disappear for the items you copied.
  7. Go to the Bidding Board to see the newly copied RFQs. Right-click to open in a new tab, or click the open item icon to open an RFQ in detail view.
  8. Notice that Loocey copied all RFQ details, made the approved sources suppliers in your CRM, and placed them in the Supplier Quotes section, if a supplier already existed, it is simply linked with its most current record, including quoting status, email, and website.
  9. Check the Product Details tab: most data is already populated, so you only fill in the missing fields before requesting quotes from the listed suppliers.
