How to Find RFQs Posted Today or Posted within a Date Range – DLA/DIBBS

Overview

Learn how to use Date Range Filters in Loocey to quickly search and filter DLA RFQs by Posted Date, including how to use Dynamic Dates to create filters that adjust automatically over time.

You’ll learn how to filter RFQs by Today, Last Week, Last Month and other preset ranges, search between specific dates with a Custom Range, and save a Dynamic Date search you can reuse without updating the dates. The same steps work on any other date column.

Step by step

The walkthrough covered in the video, written out so you can follow along inside Loocey.

1. Go to the DLA RFQs board and click All RFQs.
2. Click Filters, select Add Filter and choose Posted Date.
3. Under Condition, select Between / Date Range. You can enter the dates manually or use one of Loocey’s preset ranges.
4. To see RFQs posted today, select Today and click Apply.
5. To review RFQs posted last week, open Filters again, open the date range selector, select Last Week and click Apply. Last Month and the other ranges work the same way.
6. Other presets include Tomorrow, This Week, This Month, Last 90 Days, Last 6 Months, This Quarter, individual quarters, This Year and Last Year.
7. For a specific timeframe, select Custom Range and enter the dates you want to search between.
8. Turn on Use Dynamic Dates to make the date range move with today’s date, so you don’t have to update the filter as time passes.
9. With Use Dynamic Dates on, the date range looks the same, but after you click Apply the filter value shows as Last Week instead of the exact dates. That tells you the condition is dynamic.
10. Save the view. When you come back to it in two weeks, Loocey recalculates last week from the current date instead of using the original dates.
