How to exclude RFQs when the same company is always winning - DLA/DIBS

Overview

In this tutorial, we’ll learn how to exclude solicitations where the same company has been awarded the last 3 contracts. If the same company is always winning, it’s likely that they have special pricing and we might want to skip those contracts and focus our efforts elsewhere.

Step by step

1. If the same company has been awarded the last three contracts for an NSN, they likely have special pricing, you may want to skip those solicitations and focus your efforts elsewhere.
2. Go to RFQs and click on Simple RFQs.
3. Click on Filters and add a new filter.
4. Select Is Same Winner, set it equal to False, and apply the filter.
5. The system now filters out those contracts. Mouse over the Is Same Winner checkbox on any row to see the description of what the flag means.
6. To save your search, click the Save button, then Save As New, and save the view as Exclude Same Winners. This creates a new view with the filters you set.
