How to find RFQs which are still Open for bidding In this video, we’ll learn how to check the status of an RFQ in Loocey, but also confirm the latest status in DIBBS and do it quickly.

Step by step

The walkthrough covered in the video, written out so you can follow along inside Loocey.

1. Go to RFQs, you’ll see the Status column. In most cases it should say Open; when a contract is awarded or cancelled, it is usually removed from Loocey’s RFQ list.
2. You can verify this: add a filter for Status equals Awarded, and another for Status equals Removed, then apply. The system returns nothing, only open solicitations stay on the list.
3. Remove the filters to get back to your RFQs list.
4. While Loocey’s status is usually up to date, it’s always best to confirm the latest status in DIBBS: click the DIBBS RFQ link on the row, and the status shows directly on the DIBBS page.
5. Once an RFQ is copied to the Bidding Board, its status is no longer linked to the main record, update it manually there.
6. On the Bidding Board you’ll see the same Status column and the DIBBS RFQ link for checking the latest status. To update, click the status and choose the desired value.
7. You can also use the Status column in your filters to show RFQs based on status.
